I visit here a few times each season, I am not a Vietnam Veteran, but I am a Veteran. My time began in Sep of 75, four months after the end of Vietnam. Yet, I call these guys my brothers, Vietnam is the war I was born into in 1957. It's the war I grew up with, and all of the other turmoil that went with it. Enlisting in the Navy at the age of 17 was my rejection of the notion that the military and America are evil or that we are losers. Veteran's Day is Friday Nov 11th 2005, the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20 will hold a ceremony here at 6pm that day.
