I met Darcy and James Catino in October of 2013 at the Captain's Attic for season one of the Super Sunday Soul Jam. James - Jim, being the house guitar player with Mitty Moore of Mitty & The Followers fame on bass, and hosting.
What followed after that first meeting was Sunday after Sunday of the best party going on in Rochester, NY on a Sunday afternoon, without a doubt. Top notch musicians, young and old, some traveling from outside Monroe County, to come to the great open mic that had everybody singing, laughing, dancing, eating, drinking, and yes, taking in some NFL football.
Fast forward to August 2014, and I was thrilled to once again get invited to shoot pictures and video at a musicians wedding reception. I say musicians, Darcy is a teacher, but when you're having three bands, and they are there as your friends, it's a party in a party.
